CMS Choir
The Chamber Music Society of Harney County is directed by Don Greenfield. Local community members and high school students comprise the choir. The Choir rehearses on 2nd and 4th Tuesdays at the Burns High School band room at 7 pm.
Music Scholarship Audition
Annually the Chamber Music Society organizes an adjudicated audition for middle and high school students to compete for music scholarships to music camps or private study. Typically the audition is held on a Saturday in late February and features an evening recital where the participants perform their prepared pieces. Students often begin preparation of their selections in November and often compete at school sponsored solo contests in the spring as well. Scholarships are provided through the generous donations of patrons.
CMS Orchestra
