Chamber Music Society of Harney County

The Chamber Music Society of Harney County (CMS) provides for music performance and education opportunities in Harney County, Oregon.

CMS is a non-profit organization committed to developing and sustaining an appreciation of music within Harney County.   We provide an opportunity for individual musicians to practice and perform in concerts.  We promote local school music programs.  We encourage you to join us in these goals by becoming a member and participating in CMS events. 

UPDATE:   Fall rehearsals will begin soon.   The Choir under the direction of Don Greenfield starts rehearsal on Monday, September 11 at 7 pm in the Burns High School bandroom. 

The Bell Choir under the direction of Carol Sawyer will meet on Thursday, September 28 at St. Andrews Episcopal Church.

The Orchestra under the direction of Ken Peckham begins rehearsal on Tuesday, October 3 at 7 pm in the Burns High School bandroom. 

        Visit us at the Harney County Fair!  We have a booth!
