Oregon State University offers OSU Drum Line Camp. A 4 day camp for high school students aimed at developing percussion skills.
The Britt Institute
offers talented junior high school students a chance to study and
perform music with some of the nations's top professional musicians and
instructors. These one and two week camps are intensive, challenging,
and inspiring.
Boise State University offers
instruction on string, woodwind, percussion, keyboard, brass, vocal and
jazz improvisation. Curriculum includes operatic theater, scenes from
musicals, music theory, chamber ensembles, camp choir, group lessons,
music appreciation and master classes.
Northwest Band Camp Twin
Rocks Friends Camp, Rockaway, Oregon NW Band Camps include group
instruction in concert band, jazz band and small ensembles.
All performance group will be instructed by experienced junior high
school and high school music teachers and directors. The camps are for
music students going into the 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th grades.
University of Idaho Hampton youth Music School.
The emphasis of the Hampton Youth Music School is chamber music and
musical diversity. All students will participate in at least one
chamber music ensemble.
Willamette University young Musicians and Artists.
YMA is a two-week resident visual and performing arts summer program
housed at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon for grades four
through twelve.
